We are looking for an enthusiastic

EXPERIENCED BEDDING DESIGNER

– You must have a minimum of 5 years design experience working with major retail, bedding, bathroom and other home textiles

• Place of Work – North Manchester area.
• Company – well established 30 years+, retail and mail order supplier. 150 employees, imports from China, India, Pakistan and Turkey.
• Start Date – Asap
• Product knowledge – print, jacquard, and embroidered bedding
• You must have a commercial eye and be cost aware.
• You need to be self motivated and passionate about the product.
• You need to have excellent communication skills and be confident presenting to customers and internal management.
• Experience in market & trend research.
• Experienced with AVA and/or photoshop.
• Travel – occasional to customers, trade fairs and mills worldwide
• You will be developing design and colour based on briefs from major customers and working with mills to ensure product developed and produced as required.
• This is a combined design and product development role so communication and admin skills are just as important as design skills.

SALARY negotiable – depending on experience

HOURS: MONDAY – FRIDAY 8.30AM – 5PM
